Who runs this site
Operator: VNDLY Group AB, Sweden. Contact: hello@intotheunwritten.com.
What we collect
Only the email address you type into the newsletter form. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, trackers or advertising scripts. Its fonts, images and film come from this site, not from other services.
Our host, Vercel, handles every request and keeps short technical logs, which include IP addresses, to run the site and keep it safe. To slow down misuse of the form, the server also counts sign-ups per IP address in its memory for up to an hour. The count is never written down.
Newsletter
We use your address only to send the Into The Unwritten newsletter: news about the open beta, new adventures and the Kickstarter. We send it because you asked for it, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
When you sign up, we email you a link, and you are on the list only after you press it. Until then we keep nothing: the link itself carries your address, signed so that nobody can change it, and it stops working after seven days. If you never press it, your address is not added anywhere.
Who handles your address
Newsletter emails, including the confirmation link, are sent through Resend, a US email service, which also keeps the list for us. The list holds your address, when you joined and whether you have unsubscribed. Resend receives your email address for that purpose only.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to hello@intotheunwritten.com. After you unsubscribe, the list keeps a note that the address left, so that it is never emailed again by mistake. Ask us and we delete that note as well.
Your rights
You can ask to see the address we hold, to correct it or to have it deleted, at hello@intotheunwritten.com. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
When the game opens
From 3 November this address is the home of the game itself, with its own privacy notice. The newsletter list stays the same.
